Job Overview

The Infusion RN provides direct care to clients in their homes. This position is part-time 22.5 hours per week. Option available for a 2-day 12-hour shift or 3-day 7.5-hour shift.

Qualifications

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Associates Degree in Nursing, required
• Minimum two years' related experience required
  
  

Preferred

• Previous home infusion experience is desired.
• PICC Certification and Chemotherapy certification preferred.
• CRNI certification is preferred.
• ONS certification is preferred.
  
  

Certifications And Licenses Required

• Current licensure by the New Jersey Board of Nursing as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association is required.
• Completion of an IV certification course is required.
  
  

Scheduling Requirements

• Part-time, Day
  
  

Essential Functions

• Participates in program development, quality assurance and the delivery of care
• Remains familiar with all pumps, access devices, drugs and central lines
• Develops and maintains relationships with referral services and client base
• Determines appropriateness of patients for home therapy
• Performs patient care when needed and on-call
